Melinda Wickham

Mrs. Wickham is on the Board of Directors for the Emerald Coast Military Affairs Council. Mrs. Wickham was employed in Walton County for sixteen years, until her retirement in 2018. She served ten years as a Commissioner’s Aide for Commissioner Sara Commander and six years at Walton County Tourist Development Council as administrative assistant to the Beach Management Director. Mrs. Wickham was Chairperson of the Choctawhatchee Military Affairs Council until 2017, worked for the Walton County Chamber of Commerce and the Holmes County Chamber of Commerce. Mrs. Wickham was Mayor of Ponce de Leon, FL and prior to moving to Florida in 1991, Mrs. Wickham worked at Anniston Army Depot. Mrs. Wickham had the honor of being a 2004 Honorary Command Chief for the 96 ABW and a 2008 James E. Plew Outstanding Community Ambassador. Mrs. Wickam’s father, husband, and son are retired in the Army. Mrs. Wickham has two children and seven grandchildren.
